The following ClassPass Gift Card Terms and Conditions (the “Gift Card Terms”) describe the terms and conditions that apply to your purchase, acceptance, and use of ClassPass digital gift cards (the “Gift Cards”). Gift Cards purchased in the United States are issued by ClassPass USA LLC, and Gift Cards purchased outside of the United States are issued by the applicable ClassPass entity indicated in the Regional Amendment applicable to the purchaser’s location in the Terms of Use (each such entity referred to as “ClassPass,” we,” “us” or “our”). ClassPass may delegate its issuer obligations to an assignee, without recourse. If delegated, the assignee, and not ClassPass, will be the sole obligor to the Gift Card owner. By purchasing, accepting and retaining, or using a Gift Card, you agree to these Gift Card Terms. We reserve the right to change, amend or terminate the format, elements, and terms and conditions of Gift Cards at any time with or without notice in our sole discretion. You agree to such changed or amended terms and conditions after they have been posted.
Please note that, unless provided otherwise in an applicable Regional Amendment, Sections 18 and 19(J) of the Terms of Use contain a binding arbitration agreement and class action waiver that require you to arbitrate all disputes you have with ClassPass Releasees (defined therein) on an individual basis. By agreeing to the Gift Card Terms, you expressly agree that disputes between you and ClassPass Releasees will be resolved by binding, individual arbitration and hereby waive your right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class wide arbitration.
1. Gift Card Usage. ClassPass offers a subscription membership that automatically renews each month until cancelled. A Gift Card may be applied toward monthly membership subscription fees and mid-cycle purchases of ClassPass credits (unless, in ClassPass’ discretion, ClassPass allows you to apply Gift Cards to additional purchases you make in the future) in countries where ClassPass subscriptions are offered. For avoidance of doubt, Gift Cards cannot be used toward fees for late cancellations or missed reservations. Each Gift Card recipient (“Recipient”) will be required to sign up for a subscription membership and provide a credit card (or other payment method we may accept) for late cancellation/missed reservation fees (click here for our policy on such fees), any remaining membership fee applicable after the Gift Card amount is applied, recurring monthly subscription fees, and mid-cycle purchases of credits. As set forth in the Terms of Use, each ClassPass subscription will automatically renew, and Recipient will be charged the standard monthly rate until they cancel. If Recipient does not wish to continue their membership they may cancel at any time as set forth in the Terms of Use.
2. Shortages/Overages. If the Gift Card amount is insufficient to cover the price of a full month of the ClassPass membership the Recipient wishes to use (for example, if Recipient redeems for a membership at a higher price point than value of the Gift Card), then at the time of redemption Recipient must pay the difference by credit card or other payment method we may accept. If the Gift Card is for an amount that is greater than the monthly rate for the membership redeemed, the difference may be applied to Recipient’s next or future subscription month(s) and/or mid-cycle purchases of credits.
3. Eligibility. In order to redeem a Gift Card and sign up for a ClassPass membership, Recipient must be at least 18 years old, agree to the ClassPass Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, provide a valid payment method, and have access to the Internet.
4. Redemption. ClassPass will electronically deliver a redemption code to the e-mail address provided by the Gift Card purchaser. Unless communicated otherwise, after a Gift Card is purchased, the value of the Gift Card cannot be increased, and when redeemed, the entire amount of the Gift Card is converted into a balance on your ClassPass account and may be applied to eligible purchases at checkout. IN THE EVENT A GIFT CARD CODE IS NON-FUNCTIONAL, YOUR SOLE REMEDY, AND OUR SOLE LIABILITY, WILL BE THE REPLACEMENT OF THAT GIFT CARD CODE.
5. Restrictions. Resale of Gift Cards or use for unauthorized advertising, marketing, sweepstakes or other promotional or commercial purposes is strictly prohibited. Gift Cards may not be combined with other offers unless expressly permitted. Your right to use a Gift Card is limited, subject to the Gift Card Terms, the ClassPass Terms of Use and applicable law. We are not responsible for pricing, typographical, or other errors and reserve the right to cancel any orders resulting from such errors. A Gift Card is not a credit card and cannot be used as one, and ClassPass reserves the right to limit the number of Gift Cards an individual may purchase or redeem and to limit or change the countries where Gift Cards are available for purchase and/or redemption at any time. Gift Cards sold on or after September 1, 2025, must not be purchased by users in Hong Kong, with payment instruments issued in Hong Kong, or redeemed in Hong Kong, and attempts to circumvent geographic limits are prohibited. ClassPass may decline or cancel any Gift Card transaction that violates these geographic limits.
6. No Expiration Date/Service Charges. Gift Cards carry no expiration date, service charges, or dormancy fees. However, Gift Cards may be subject to escheat to an appropriate state or territory if and as required by applicable unclaimed property laws.
7. Refunds/Replacements/Risk of Loss. You must protect the Gift Card as if it were cash and safeguard the Gift Card from unauthorized use. Except in special circumstances or where required by law, Gifts Cards are not refundable. Gift Cards will not be refunded or replaced if lost, stolen, mutilated or damaged and may not be redeemed for cash, except where required by law. The risk of loss and title for Gift Cards pass to the purchaser upon our electronic transmission of the Gift Card to the purchaser or designated recipient.
8. Misuse of Gift Card. If we suspect any fraud or misuse in connection with a Gift Card, we reserve the right in our discretion to suspend or terminate use of the Gift Card. We may cancel the Gift Card at any time, without notice.
9. General Terms. The ClassPass Terms of Use and Privacy Policy apply to Gift Cards and any disputes arising out of a Gift Card or the Gift Card Terms will be resolved in accordance with the Terms of Use. The Gift Card Terms are incorporated in the ClassPass Terms of Use and may change at any time without notice.
10. Promotional Gift Cards. These Gift Card Terms also apply to gift cards or other stored value cards that are given away free with a purchase, or distributed as a reward, incentive, or as part of a marketing, promotional or customer loyalty program (“Promotional Gift Cards”); provided, however, that Promotional Gift Cards may expire to the extent permitted by applicable law and may be subject to additional offer or promotion-specific terms and conditions. Unless otherwise noted, you may only receive one Promotional Gift Card per special offer or promotion. Promotional Gift Cards will be void where prohibited by law and may not be used on items ineligible for the applicable promotion (such as the purchase of ClassPass Gift Cards).
