How does fitness tracking on ClassPass work?
Once you connect your ClassPass account with Apple's Health app on your iPhone, ClassPass will automatically sync available workout data after every class. You'll be able to view your average heart rate and active calorie burn for each workout by viewing your past classes.
Do I need an Apple Watch to have fitness data?
You can use any fitness tracker that records workouts with Apple's Health app. Fitness trackers compatible with Apple’s Health app include Apple Watch, Misfit, and Garmin.
Fitness data will only be available if you create a workout entry that is synced with Apple’s Health app.
Who will be able to see my personal fitness data?
If you connect with Apple's Health app, only you will see the fitness data in your past classes. Friends who can view your class history will not be able to see this information.
How can I sync my fitness data to my ClassPass account?
To connect Apple’s Health app with your ClassPass account:
- Open the ClassPass app
- Tap ‘Profile’ in the bottom right corner
- Select ‘Settings’
- Under ‘Preferences’ select ‘Connect app & devices’
- Select ‘Connect’
To remove ClassPass’ access to your fitness data:
- Open the ClassPass app
- Tap ‘Profile’ in the bottom right corner
- Select ‘Settings’
- Under ‘Preferences’ select ‘Connect app & devices’
- Select ‘Disconnect’
Changes to these settings will be applied to your ClassPass account moving forward, and no additional fitness data will be synced to future workouts. Previously associated fitness data will remain visible in your past classes.
