There are a few reasons the reserve button may be greyed out, thus preventing you from booking a class. If you hover your mouse over the button, a message will pop up explaining why you are not able to reserve the class.
Common reasons why the button is greyed out:
- The booking window is not open yet.
- The deadline to book the class has passed.
- You have already taken or reserved the maximum amount of classes allowed by your plan at this studio during your cycle.
- You have another reservation scheduled at the same time.
- You have yet to take the pre-requisite for the class.
The booking window is not open yet.
If the booking window is not open yet, please double check when the booking window opens for the studio. You can find this information on the studio's page on ClassPass, on the right-hand side, under "Booking Window." For most studios, the booking window opens one week in advance of the class date, at noon.
The deadline to book the class has passed.
Depending on the studio, there may be a deadline to reserve the class. This can be anywhere from 2-24 hours in advance of the class. If the booking window has closed, we unfortunately are not able to reserve the class for you. Many of our studios offer last-minute reservations, however, which can be booked up to five minutes in advance of the class!
You have already taken or reserved the maximum amount of classes allowed by your plan at this studio during your cycle.
If you have already visited a particular studio the maximum amount of times allowed by your plan, or if you have an upcoming reservation for the studio that falls within your current cycle and reaches the max, you will not be able to reserve another class until your cycle renews. Keep in mind that missed and late-canceled classes also count toward your studio visits. If you're unsure how many times you can visit a studio, check under 'Your current plan' in your Account Settings.
You have another reservation scheduled at the same time.
We know you can’t be in two places at once! So the ClassPass system won’t allow you to book a class that conflicts with one of your current reservations. If you find that you're incorrectly blocked from booking a class because of a time conflict, please contact us and we'll be happy to assist!
You have yet to take the pre-requisite for the class.
Some of our studios offer advanced level classes that require students to have more experience before registering. You will need to take the prerequisite class before the other classes will be opened up to you.
